
riana Riquezes is a law clerk at Nicklaus & Associates P.A. in Coral Gables and a third-year law student, aspiring to practice litigation upon passing the Florida Bar.
She graduated cum laude from Florida State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs and Criminology and a minor in French. During her undergraduate studies, she was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity and interned at the Center for Advancement of Human Rights in Tallahassee, FL, as well as CABA Pro Bono Legal Services. In these roles, she assisted underprivileged clients, including victims of human trafficking and unaccompanied minors, in navigating the legal processes for asylum, permanent residency, and citizenship.
While in law school, Ms. Riquezes interned for the Honorable Judge Carmen Cabarga of the 11th Circuit Criminal Division and gained experience at an insurance defense litigation firm before joining Nicklaus & Associates.
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Ms. Riquezes moved to the United States in 2014. She is fluent in English and Spanish and conversant in French. Having lived in five countries before settling in Miami, FL, she brings a diverse international perspective to her legal career.
